This session explored how skills development and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) can be positioned as a central driver of global strategies, addressing critical challenges such as economic transformation, innovation, and inclusivity. The discussion focused on interconnected themes: the redefinition of human capital for the future economy, transforming TVET systems to elevate their value and relevance, and international cooperation for the achievement of the SDGs.

This session paved the way for WorldSkills Conference 2026 in Shanghai, where we will continue to strengthen our collective efforts to shape the future of skills development worldwide.
