The WorldSkills community gathered in Dubrovnik, bringing together international organizations, policymakers, industry leaders, educators, and youth to collaborate on shaping the future of skills development.

Organized by WorldSkills Croatia as a pivotal side event of WorldSkills General Assembly 2025, WorldSkills Croatia Conference 2025 brought together experts from around the world to explore how Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) could drive innovation, workforce resilience, and economic transformation in an era of rapid change.

Geopolitical, technological, and economic shifts are redefining the global workforce, and TVET must evolve to equip individuals with vital skills. The event provided a platform for discussion on the impact of AI and automation on the workforce, strategies for strengthening TVET’s adaptability, and the role of skills in fostering sustainable and circular economies.

The sessions reflected on how skills could revolutionize innovation, competitiveness, and workforce mobility when supported with effective policymaking.

It was an opportunity to connect with a network of countries, organizations, and businesses committed to skills excellence and to be part of the global movement shaping the future of TVET.
