The role of TVET in navigating geo-strategic workforce shifts

As we enter the second half of the decade, geopolitical shifts, technological disruptions, and economic crises are reshaping labour markets at an unprecedented pace. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems must evolve to equip young people with the skills needed to remain competitive, adaptable, and resilient in this volatile landscape.

This session looked at what is changing because of global megatrends and focus on how TVET can accelerate skills mobility, ensure workforce resilience, and bridge the growing gap between education and industry demands.
