Nurit is the WorldSkills Champions Trust representative for Europe. As a mechatronics specialist from Vienna, Austria, she competed in Industry 4.0 at WorldSkills Lyon 2024, earning a Medallion for Excellence. She completed her apprenticeship at Siemens, while also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Digital Communication at the University of Applied Sciences FH Campus Wien. Nurit’s path to engineering was unconventional and led her to Siemens’ dual study program, where she combined hands-on experience with academic learning. Upon graduation, she secured a position on Siemens’ software development team, specializing in predictive maintenance for factory equipment.
